2007-12-11 14:38:26 Nick Moffitt description I have successfully booted machines of various manufacture from the 6.06.2 CDs that I burned here. Despite this, neither the i386 and amd64 CDs will boot on our IBM x3200. I get a message saying that the kernel is starting, and then some PCI output errors. The system is completely unresponsive for at least 15 minutes, and then a message appears saying that the log daemons are starting. At this point a Ctrl-Alt-Del will reboot, but leaving it running even overnight did not make any progress in the boot process.
