Bug Description
I've also tested this machine with two separate USB Microphone adapters, and they do the same thing really. Super-low volume on the mic. I can only see a bit of a spike if I tap the mic hard.
I can confirm the Headset/Microphone selection screen pops up when plugging the headset in.
This workaround works after a reboot:

> # Add to /etc/modprobe.
> options snd-hda-intel model=dell-
I'm using this headset https:/
