Bug Description
[Impact]
The HiSilicon D05 server provides a graphical display that you can view remotely using a Java app connected to the BMC. While the system boots there, and the GRUB-generated installer menu appears, the installer itself does not have a driver to display there.
Currently this also requires manually adding 'console=tty0' to the installer cmdline as, by default, the kernel will use a serial console.
[Test Case]
Boot installer media. Add "console=tty0" to the cmdline for the "Install Ubuntu Server" option, boot.
Without this fix, the graphical console will remain blank - with it, you'll get an installer screen.
[Regression Risk]
This adds a driver module that will only load if the associated hardware is present.
