Bug Description
After running the system for a while, the unity desktop background would disappeared at a random point (all sidebars, top tools pane, desktop).
When this happens:
- The current running applications can still be used, but accessing the file system on the terminal reports error.
- Editing and saving some currently opening files reports "read-only" mode error.
This bug happens every single while in my daily use. Using a lower-versioned kernel seems to escape the problem.
