Bug Description

Commit dfcb9f4f99f1e9a49e43398a7bfbf56927544af1 needs to be backported in order to really fix what commit 2dcab5984841 upstream was supposed to fix.

Commit 2dcab5984841 was backported to Xenial as part of the 4.4.y stable update.
