ubuntu 17.04: hw-breakpoint in kernel-sapce not working

How to reproduce:

$ sudo cat /proc/kallsyms | grep pid_max
  c000000001308794 D pid_max

$ sudo perf record -a --event=mem:0xc000000001308794 sleep 10

$ dmesg

This fix has already been applied as part of upstream stable release 4.10.4. It is included in the 4.10.0-15.17 kernel for zesty which is currently in the canonical-kernel-team PPA.
