The upstream link is no good, and I haven't been able to find it on bugzilla.kernel.org by searching.
It is unclear to me why this bug report was set to incomplete.

While I do get the log entries listed herein, I am also using the latest mainline kernel, 4.11-rc5 (but also noticed it for the last few 4.11 rcs).

For me these messages were a side effect of unattended upgrades, and the os-prober running as some auto-removal thing. All stuff that I do not want, and did not use to be the default. Having either disabled or uninstalled that stuff, I now expect these message to go away.
