If I insert the USB Flash drive in USB3.0 port even the command lsusb does not show any information about it like it does not exist. I test this several times on Windows 7 and it function without issue.
Here is the lsusb output with the flash inserted in USB2.0 port

- I tested on another system with same Ubuntu Mate and probably same kernel,.. and it works,
Probably USB 3.0 hub driver does not recognize this flash.
