At a minimum, we need:

1. The specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the problem.
2. The behavior you expected.
3. The behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible).

You mention "errors". Are there error messages displayed? What do they say?

Please also change the title of the bug to something more meaningful.

A good place to learn about is the brand forum

The journal log shows some kernel problem module/driver activation: dig around and/or install more recent kernel (https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux)

The other issues might be related to kde installation (as i'm not a kde user, i cant elaborate more). In all cases, start testing new iso with a virtual solution (virtualbox,...) to find the release which works the best for that hardware; then you can do a fresh real installation with the good release found by testing.
