I too am having problems with slow network on Gustsy 7.10 (fresh install). In my case, it is only the wireless. It is slow for internet and local network transfers. I have tried updating the router firmware but that did not help. For now I'll just wait it out. My connection is usable thankfully, just slow. Lets hope they get this fixed soon.
