Bug Description
What is expected is when I connect my laptop to my Samsung Galaxy Note Edge (Android 5.0.1, Build LRX22C.
What happens instead is that there is a kernel call trace as per:

then NetworkManager times out the connection.
WORKAROUND: Use the phone's hotspot on 2.4GHz.
