Bug Description
Mediatek provided driver is too old for ubuntu 15.10 with kernel 4.2.
I have a rt2870/my7610u (Asus USB AC51)and I try driver which is in Asus or Mediatek website
But I can't use "make" to make file ,and I got "error 2" from the terminal .
I checked the offical driver and i found THIS CODE in /common/

Did this issue start happening after an update/upgrade? Was there a prior kernel version where you were not having this particular problem?
Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer to https:/ /wiki.ubuntu. com/KernelMainl ineBuilds . Please test the latest v4.4 kernel[0].
