Bug Description
I am on Gutsy with a Dell Vostro 1500 and my microphone does not work at all. The microphone was not actually being detected by ALSA (I couldn't set it as an input source in gnome-volume-
* When I plugged external speaker in, sound would continue to play on the laptop's internal speakers
* I still can't manage to record any sound with the microphone (this might be because I don't have it configured correctly but I have played around with lots of different settings)
Incidentally, I had to upgrade to alsa-driver-
Any work around or fix for this would be really appreciated. Thanks.
