Bug Description
I have a Palm Tungsten E that connects via an USB cable. I have never had problems before connecting this device in previous Ubuntu versions until installed Ubuntu Gutsy Beta.
I can't make it synchronize with gnome-pilot because /dev/pilot does not exist, and I can't mount this as an usb storage device (for which I use Softick CardExport) to access to its 512MB SD memory card (it used to be detected /dev/sda1, and automounted, but this doesn't happen now)
Both actions worked flawlessly in Ubuntu 7.04
output of "lsmod | grep usb" (when trying to synchronize):
usb_storage 72896 0
libusual 18192 1 usb_storage
ide_core 116548 4 usb_storage,
usbhid 29536 0
hid 28928 1 usbhid
scsi_mod 147084 4 sg,sd_mod,
usbcore 138248 6 usb_storage,
output of "lsmod | grep usb" (when trying to connect as an USB storage device):
usb_storage 72896 1
libusual 18192 1 usb_storage
ide_core 116548 4 usb_storage,
usbhid 29536 0
hid 28928 1 usbhid
scsi_mod 147084 4 sg,sd_mod,
usbcore 138248 6 usb_storage,
I have an usb mouse (Logitech MX500) that works with no problems
I also tried connecting a Fujifilm E550 Camera via usb and it automounted with no problems.
I'll upload the logs in the next posts
