Bug Description
Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.22
john@dogen:~$ sudo modprobe hdaps
FATAL: Error inserting hdaps (/lib/modules/
dmesg output:
[ 1073.448000] hdaps: supported laptop not found!
[ 1073.448000] hdaps: driver init failed (ret=-19)!
The Lenovo marketing bumpf assures me this laptop does indeed have the hdaps hardware.
Bug #133636 sounds similar but for the Thinkpad T61P and was fixed in version 2.6.22-11.32 according to the changelog.
I sure I speak for hundreds of thousands of other R61 owners in saying that it's quite critical I get to play Neverball by wiggling my laptop around until I get bored after 5 minutes, so I'd love to see this supported. I'm sure you'll do all you can to help in our plight. Thank you.
