Bug Description
*Actual Behaviour*
After installing latest upgrades this morning on my HP ProBook 470 G2/2249 on rebooting the system did not come to life. It powered to bios and then a blank screen on booting Ubuntu which lasted about 3 minutes until I powered off and rebooted to the previous kernel.
I purchased this laptop only 6 weeks ago, so I doubt that this might be an issue with the old BIOS, however I should add that to get around a preinstalled windows 8(removed) and install UBUNTU I disabled UEFI in the BIOS and switched to a legacy BIOS.
*What was expected*
After upgrade and reboot the system would boot as normal with the new kernel.
*What happened instead*
After BIOS came to life the screen remained black for about 3 minutes before I decided to power down and reboot to previous kernel.
