You just need to install the .deb package from a terminal with "dpkg -i" then reboot. Are you getting the panic after booting the 3.19-rc3 kernel? If so, it may be a new bug there.

It might also be worthwile testing the latest upstream 3.16 kernel, which can be downloaded from:
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.16.7-ckt3-utopic/

It can also be install with dpkg -i like:

sudo dpkg -i linux-image-3.16.7-031607-generic_3.16.7-031607.201412191035_amd64.deb

how i do unistall the previouslly installed packages?

Joseph Salisbury (jsalisbury) wrote :

No need to install the -headers package.

You can uninstall prior packages with the command: 'sudo dpkg --purge PACKAGE_NAME'

This issue appears to be an upstream bug, since you tested the latest upstream kernel. Would it be possible for you to open an upstream bug report[0]? That will allow the upstream Developers to examine the issue, and may provide a quicker resolution to the bug.

Please follow the instructions on the wiki page[0]. The first step is to email the appropriate mailing list. If no response is received, then a bug may be opened on bugzilla.kernel.org.

Once this bug is reported upstream, please add the tag: 'kernel-bug-reported-upstream'.
