ttf-mscorefonts-installer

but in the end I copied the fonts myself manually.

Therefore I don't need that installer. I hadn't been able to get it working anyway, as I recall.

I continued to install linux-generic (3.13.039.46) = 3.13.0-39-generic

Now the software updater reports "software ... up to date". :-)
