Hi Joseph,
So the new Kernel (3.13.0-37-generic) basically came in during my latest update about a week ago and my server has been using it since then.
However, I'm still getting the Kernel Crashes.
I have found out that there is a correlation between the kernel crashes and a daemon that I'm running sabnzbdplus which is a newsgroup downloader. If I don't download anything with it and just let it sit idle in the background then the Kernel can run for days without crashing. As soon as I make the daemon download something overnight I wake up to a crashed Kernel. 
From the crash screen I noticed one of the lines: 
CPU: 1 PID:24790 Comm: sabnzbdplus Tainted
I can understand that there potentially could be some bugs with sabnzbdplus but I don't understand that it can take down the whole Kernel.
