Bug Description
I am currently using 14.04 but I have tested this from 10.04 (downloaded from oldreleases) to the beta 14.10 and the bug is still there. 32 or 64 bit releases do not seems to make any difference.
WORKAROUND: Download the sources from Intel and apply the below procedure. However the patch has to be re-applied on the next kernel update:
