The touchpad is not listed by cat proc/bus/input/devices and does not work at all. Touchpad does work under Ubuntu 14.04 live CD but not upon HDD install.

mainline kernel does not fix problem. 'cat proc/bus/input/devices' still fails to detect touchpad.
