2007-09-02 19:37:25 | Black Sliver | description | I've tried the Ubuntu Gusty Gibbon Tribe 5 live disc (x86) and the netboot variant (x86 too). Both cant access my network! Everything works fine using Feisty x86 (as-is) or Windows XP Home (with installed drivers). My two network cards are on-board, only eth0 plugged, both are nVidia nForce MCP55. After default wasn't working, i switched to static and executed ifconfig, after that i've tried dhcp again and ran /etc/init.d/networking restart, after that, again ifconfig. See: http://pastebin.ca/679166 Here's my dmesg output: http://pastebin.ca/679163 On FEISTY, my hardware infos: lspci -v: http://pastebin.ca/679184 lshw: http://pastebin.ca/679180 For any questions, please mail to andreas.lausch[at]tbt.at or /msg BSliver on #ubuntu @ EFNet | I've tried the Ubuntu Gusty Gibbon Tribe 5 live disc (x86) and the netboot variant (x86 too, netboot worked fine). 2008-10-16 18:03:12 | Stefan Bader | linux: statusexplanation | Based on the last comment (and the previous ones that indicated this has been improved in 2.6.27) I close this bug as fixed for Intrepid. For Hardy and Gutsy this has to be worked around by disabling MSI(X). | ||
