Can you see if this issue also occurs with the latest 3.13 upstream version? It can be downloaded from:

http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.13.11-ckt13-trusty/

If the bug does still exist, we can perform a reverse bisect to identify the commit that fixes this in 3.19.
