Dell Inspiron N5110: Suspend does not work

Bug Description

I can not suspend the pc as it always bring me to the login screen. If I suspend their the screen goes black and then I'm back at the login screen

Phillip Sz, as per http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/product-support/product/inspiron-15r-n5110/drivers an update to your BIOS is available (A11). If you update to this following https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BiosUpdate does it change anything? If it doesn't, could you please both specify what happened, and provide the output of the following terminal command:
sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date

Please note your current BIOS is already in the Bug Description, so posting this on the old BIOS would not be helpful. As well, you don't have to create a new bug report. As well, you don't have to create a new bug report.

okey, will upgrade by BIOS the next time I'm at my PC in 3 weeks. Note that everything's works fine in trusty!
