Bug Description

I found this patch:

After patching my kernel (3.13.0-29) with this, the sound is working great!

Please include this patch in the next Ubuntu kernel. :-)

Patching the linux kernel also worked for me on Ubuntu 12.04 on an ASUS Z97-Pro Motherboard.

For those who don't know how to install the latest linux kernel (as well as resolve other hardware compatibility issues on the Z97 chipset), I wrote some instructions here:

What command you should do int terminal to fix it? Sorry but I dont' t understand the procedure on the linked page. Is it fixed on Ubuntu 14.10?
