crashed on 12.04 install

I was installing a fresh 12.04 install and it crashed

Looks to be a crash in the kernel:

Also your ntfs partition appears to be corrupt; you should run chkdsk /r on it from windows.

thank you.for looking into it. I wasnt expecting a reply! Is there a
solution to fix it as after 3 separate downloads and installs I'm no
further on with an install

Do you happen to know if this also happens on newer releases, such as Saucy or Trusty?

Yes it happened in both 13.04 and 13.10 - it has taken over 2 days to try
and install!
