It appears you are currently running a mainline kernel. It would be better to report this bug upstream at http://bugzilla.kernel.org/ so that the upstream kernel developers are aware of the issue. If you'd still like to file a bug against the Ubuntu kernel, please boot with an official Ubuntu kernel and re-file.

Please see syslog.txt if it is has any use.

Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest v3.13 kernel[0].

If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the tag: 'kernel-bug-exists-upstream'.

If you are unable to test the mainline kernel, for example it will not boot, please add the tag: 'kernel-unable-to-test-upstream'.
Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug as "Confirmed".

Ran trusty-desktop-i386.iso on live-CD, installed Adobe flash plugin and watched fullscreen Youtube video with Firefox.
apport-collect was ran just after re-connect after connection break.

TxSx, thank you for apport-collect'ing. Regarding your comments https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1277598/comments/21 :
>"These guys seem to have the same hardware and the same problems:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/879790?comments=all"

That report has nothing to do with this one, as the original reporter noted in the Bug Description how the sound quality is poor, not the WiFi is disconnecting.

>"I'm also having sound problems in with fullscreen videos."

As this bug report is only focused on WiFi disconnections, this is outside the scope of this report. You are welcome to file a new report about it in Ubuntu via a terminal:
ubuntu-bug audio

>"My lspci:"

You wouldn't need to provide this as it was already captured during your apport-collect, among other helpful information -> https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1277598/+attachment/3996377/+files/Lspci.txt .

Despite this, could you please answer the following questions:
+ Did this problem not occur in a prior version of Ubuntu?
+ In Trusty only, could you please test the latest mainline kernel via http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.14-rc4-trusty/ and advise to the results?

I'm referring to comments #64, #71 and #83 where similar symptoms are described.
Abode flash, ATI Radeon, fullscreen video, WLAN and sound relate to each other somehow.

I am a Mint user using Linux Mint Maya 13 LTS Mate.
So far I have tested with no success the following:
- the kernels suggested in this thread installed to Mint
- the Ubuntu live-CD suggested in this thread
- Xubuntu 12.04.3 LTS Precise Pangolin XFCE
- Linux Mint Debian

I can't remember how this PC behaved before Linux Mint Maya 13 LTS Mate. I can do a live-CD test if needed.

The problem still exists in 3.14.0-031400rc4-generic.

I don't think wireless is the problem here. Based on a tip from another thread I did a live-CD test
using xubuntu-12.10-desktop-i386.iso (kernel Linux xubuntu 3.5.0-17-generic #28-Ubuntu SMP Tue
Oct 9 19:32:08 UTC 2012 i686 i686 i686 GNU/Linux). Playing fullscreen video with
Firefox (installed Adobe flash player 11,2,202,341) syslog stays nice and quiet. I also updated
flash to current configuration but it made no difference. I am adding lspci from Xubuntu.
When doing rough comparison on system monitors it seems the CPU load is much less on Xubuntu.
The 2nd core seems to have very little load. Current configuration has much higher CPU load and
the 2nd core has the same high load as the 1st one.

Is there anything I could search from Xubuntu to see what makes the difference?

TxSx, you wouldn't need to add lspci again as it's already available in greater detail in prior attachments.

Another workaround is to add "radeon.modeset=0" after splash to /etc/default/grub:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash radeon.modeset=0"

(Kernel mode setting to user mode setting. What is actually means for graphics card?)

After setting this there are no more WLAN breaks while watching fullscreen youtube.
Also sound problems disappear. The above setting reduces CPU load. I see no obvious troubles in video
performance. What other consequences this setting may have I don't know. I also don't know if this
works for other Linux distros or for other than Thinkpad T60 users.

I'm not sure what setting was on in Xubuntu 12.10 when I was comparing to it.

So, IMHO ATI Radeon driver developers should take a look at this problem.
