Bug Description

Get that error logged on Trusty i386 with the latest 3.12.0.1 kernel on that fresh installation:

[ 1.024928] libahci: module verification failed: signature and/or required key missing - tainting kernel

As its a fresh installation, neither intel-microcode nor iucode-tool are installed.

Question: could it be also related to that other report ?

Did this just start happening on Trusty with the 3.12.0.1 kernel, or did it also happen on prior releases?

@Joseph
as i know, the previous versions was only complaining about the intel-microcode issue. The error seen with the latest kernel about libahci seems new.
