USB key does not mount

Hi,
On Ubuntu 13.04 with 3.8.0-29 kernel
4GB Dane-Elec usb key does not mount, do not appear anywhere in the system, just as it does not exist.
On another PC running Ubuntu 12.04 with the same kernel, USB key does not mount either a.s.o.
but
on this last PC running Ubuntu 12.04 with 3.2.0-52 kernel, that same USB key mounts and is fully usable.
The USB key is FAT32 formatted
