Bug Description
Using the past few Ubuntu 13.10 daily images, installation seemingly goes fine, it reboots onto the Ubuntu login display. Upon attempting to login, the screen turns black, never loading the desktop. Switching to console, I saw the following error at the login prompt from the kernel.
Aug 3 00:12:21 saucy-omap4 kernel: [ 2.441223] omapdss HDMI error: failed to enable GPIO's

HDMI connected to LCD TV
1.) Boot Ubuntu
2.) Arrive at Ubuntu GDM login prompt
3.) Successful authentication
4.) Black Screen, mouse cursor
Doesn't go any further.
