Bug Description

CID: 201206-11161 HP Pavilion P6 (12.04.2 Kernel: 3.5.0-30)

During single suspension, everything goes fine, except there is a High failure in the suspend_single.log

This system failed to complete suspend 30 cycles, it freezes during waking up in the later suspensions (no screen, keyboard Num Lock indicator not responding), this situation happens after the first successful suspension and wake up.

Error message:
High failures: 1
s3: HIGH Kernel message: [ 1735.762374] [Firmware Bug]: cpu 1, try to use APIC500 (LVT offset 0) for vector 0x400, but the register is already in use for vector 0xf9 on another cpu

Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest v3.10 kernel[0].

If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following tag 'kernel-fixed-upstream'.

If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the tag: 'kernel-bug-exists-upstream'.

If you are unable to test the mainline kernel, for example it will not boot, please add the tag: 'kernel-unable-to-test-upstream'.
Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug as "Confirmed".

Thanks in advance.
