applesmc: wait status failed: c != 8

Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.20-15-generic

I get 'applesmc: wait status failed: c != 8' every 10-100 second in the syslog.

I'm using kubuntu feisty on a MacBook Pro.

I'll get a similar message when doing
cat /sys/devices/platform/applesmc/temperature_6
cat: /sys/devices/platform/applesmc/temperature_6: Input/output error

applesmc: wait status failed: 5 != 0

All other entries are ok.

Beginning with the Hardy Heron 8.04 development cycle, all open Ubuntu kernel bugs need to be reported against the "linux" kernel package.
