To my surprise, the patch committed to the official Linux repo (https://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commit/?id=fdc03438f53a00294ed9939eb3a1f6db6f3d8963) is very different from the patch attached to this bug report (https://launchpadlibrarian.net/140553725/ehci-split-bugs). Why is it so? I guess, this a the reason why my USB async DAC still does not work with the officially fixed kernel and works with this local patch. I'm looking forward to resolve this situation and provide any additional debug info if needed. And I don't use USB Hub. Also the my locally compiled patched 3.9.4 Kernel has been working flawlessly with my Arcam USB Dac (r-dac)for half a year without any single issue.
