[overlayfs] glibc testsuite posix/tst-dir fails on overlayfs

When building on overlayfs, the eglibc test posix/tst-dir fails with the message below:

TEST tst-dir.out:
haven't found new directory "/«PKGBUILDDIR»/build-tree/amd64-libc/posix/tst-dir.NI2l6Q"

I haven't dug too deeply into this, as filesystem oddities generally make my brain bleed, but it behaves fine on LVM snapshots (the Debian buildds) and on raw ext3/ext4, while failing on my overlayfs sbuild setup. Filing this bug so I have a reference when I disable it conditionally in the testsuite for now. :P

Hi Adam,

Do you happen to know if this issue also existed in prior Ubuntu releases, or earlier Raring kernels? I wonder if bug 1098378 is related.
