Thanks for the feedback, everyone. I restarted the kernel bisect.

I built the next test kernel, up to the following commit:
7c9c684160bc2c6668abbd2701b440e18bb9ef35

The test kernel can be downloaded from:
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~jsalisbury/lp1107150

Can you test that kernel and report back if it has the bug or not. I will build the next test kernel based on your test results.
