This is actually a kernel regression caused by the disabling of the SLUB_DEBUG config option in ubuntu kernel commit c28f49fd37b32bb c88b86a6ff01aeb 28948c7aaa (thanks to Kees for the commit reference). Dropping this breaks the slabtop(1) utility.
Marking invalid as a QRT bug and moving over to the kernel.
