Let me clarify my response. I did exactly what you suggested on exactly the computer that was the subject of this bug report and reported the results -- namely that the problem was not corrected. I only mentioned the other issue -- one which is also reported elsewhere -- because it did change and I felt that t might help with analysis of this problem.
