My Samsung lappy brick twice, but it is different in my case. The BIOS always broken aftere doing update from update manager.

1. Install Ubuntu
2. Boot normaly(no grub)
3. Update(Update Manager)
4. Reboot
5. Grub appeared from nowhere
6. Select ubuntu
7. Boot forever
8. Power off
9. Black Screen
