Bug Description

Hi,

I expect this report is almost corrected, but i've don't find it.

I am on a live cd 2.6.24-2 distribution.
My hard disk is an usb key (commercial).

I have a setup to update my program. It format a partition, copy (with crc), check ...
Sometimes (1 time / 40), after reboot, i don't have any data on the destination partition : but no mount error is detected!

Now, i want to use an industrial USB (USB DOM). The problem occurs 1 time / less than 5!

I will update the post (if possible) when i have more informations

Thanks
Daniel.

A new remark!

I have an other problem, i think very linked!

I've got 3 principal partitions, with 1 extended (and 6 disk on it).

I'am loosing disks and sometimes partitions.

I think to a format (mount, check ?) access to MBR problem!
That can explain all.

I remember that i do many mount, one disk format, 2 check after writting ... is it too mutch ?
That must not do any problem!

Thanks
Daniel.

I have to notice that i am on an ext2 file system.

Under ubuntu 10.04 with ext4 file system, no problem.
With ext2 file system : problems occur !!!

I try both in ext3.
