I think I'm affected by the same bug. I ran the following command on a terminal :

sudo dpkg --configure -a

and I get :

Okay, the problem was : I had not enough space in the /book directory, so I had to clean files there.

It's strange that the older releases of the linux kernel are not automatically deleted from this file after a new release is installed.

But now everything's A-OK for me.
