I'm just wondering if this really is a "solution". I wish the updater process would check for the available space before installing anything, as well as was able to delete the old kernels if necessary. ATM I have four different kernel versions left by Hardy's update process. Wouldn't it be enough to leave only the newly installed one and the previous one? My /boot is only 100MB so I guess I will have to delete the old kernels manually all the time until this issue is addressed.

In the meantime you'll have to continue to manage your own disk space with regards to installed kernels.

I get the same problem. apt-get -f install does nothing (same error).
