saa7134-alsa: disagrees about version of symbol snd_pcm_new

Upgraded from 7.1.0 to 8.0.4.
Got problem with TV tuner card.
I got image but no voice.
TV tuner card is based on saa7130 chipset.
Dmesg output is attached.
I have read the bug report.
I saw similar reports but didn't see fix anywhere.

This looks like a duplicate of bug 212271. A patch to resolve this was recently committed and should be available in the next linux-ubuntu-modules upload which should be out shortly: https://edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.24. Thanks.

Anyway, how to fix the problem in a simple way?

Try doing an apt-get update && apt-get upgrade. This should be fixed.

If not, then you might have a new bug.

or wait for the official release. ;-)
