No sound: snd_hda_intel module failes to load

After todays (2008-03-09) update to kernel 2.6.24-12, the sound no longer works.
Attached is what happens when I try to manually load the snd_hda_intel module.
This is a standard x86_64 kernel from ubuntu.
If any additional info or testing needed, please tell me :)

My sound card is Intel HDA - realtek ALC888 chip based one.
 Intel Corporation 82801H (ICH8 Family) HD Audio Controller (rev 03)
