desktop CD boot hangs eternally; kernel oops in unionfs_create()

Booting the current Hardy Ubuntu desktop CD results in a kernel oops in unionfs. Attaching two screenshots with the oops info.

I'm attaching a rebuilt unionfs.ko module, which I'm hoping someone can place into an alpha2 ISO for testing.

This gives unresolved symbols: security_file_ioctl and security_inode_permission

it did something; the module loads fine now, and I get a different crash trace now.

This bug was fixed in the package linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.24 - 2.6.24-2.3
