Bug Description

Hi,

would it be possible to add standard video mode for HDTVs, 1280x720 @ 60 Hz into the modedb in kernel? There's a patch[1] for it in Sakoman's tree already. This video mode is quite common for TVs and would be nice to have it in kernel. Thank you.

I have spoken to Steve Sakoman.

He plans to send the patches upstream in a couple of weeks or so.

I will add them to our kernel when he has done so.

This bug hasn't been forgotten.

Steve is waiting for his patch-set to be complete before pushing upstream.

If it's still an issue, let me know and I'll badger him.
