        no trash icons, no notification icons, no date applets and no applet active window.
        Only : Apllications, Places, System and my Firefox icon.

           First : I had a "fsck" in recovery : Result OK

Code:

$ dpkg --configure -a
$ apt-get update
$ apt-get upgrade
$ apt-get -f

 same result error "OAFIID:GNOME_Panel_TrashApplet", then

Code:

$ apt-get remove libxres1 --purge
$ apt-get install ubuntustudio-desktop

and :

Code:

$ dpkg-reconfigure gnome-applets

result : gnome-applets not installed, then

Code:

$ apt-get install gnome-applets
$ dpkg-reconfigure gnome-applets

 configure gnome-applets with dpkg "Next" and "Next". [ok]
