Unloading uhci_hcd causes lock-ups (ipw3945 related?)

Bug Description

I was running powertop and noticed a lot of interrupts from uhci_hcd. I removed it and the system works fine for a bit and then crashes. I don't think it happens every time though.

I'm also seeing (or was seeing, I haven't tested in a while) lock-ups when the wireless is disabled. It seems to happen most often when the system is booted off the battery. Bug #63418 may be related.

I don't really know where to go with this, but I can get any debugging data you require.

Hi Richard,

The Hardy Heron Alpha series is currently under development and contains an updated version of the kernel. It would be helpful if you could test the latest Hardy Alpha release: http://www.ubuntu.com/testing . You should be able to then test the new kernel via the LiveCD. If you can, please verify if this bug still exists or not and report back your results. Thanks.

To be honest, I'd rather just let this expire. I'm not sure how reproducible it is even now. And really, if the high interrupts were solved, there'd be no reason to unload it (which I'm not doing anyway).
