Bug Description
Since the feisty->gutsy upgrade, my computer won't boot anymore. The old kernel still boots. Due to all the screen blanking of the fancy logo's I can't see what's going wrong, but I think I saw something like "Can't allocate memory for resource <SCREEN BLANK>" and finally it complains about "too many ide devices" if I remember correctly. Then I will get a busybox prompt, but can't do much except reboot. There is a HPT374 (I think) ide controller in the machine.
I can provide more information later.

This bug is perfectly reproduceable, but it's very hard to gather
information. In busybox, there is no dmesg or logs that I can find....
Any hints ?
