Bug Description
Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.22
Suspend works perfectly under Feisty on this hardware. I have up-to-date Gutsy installed. Suspend to RAM has not worked under any version of Gutsy (I started with Tribe 3). The screen blanks, monitor goes to standby, but the machine stays fully powered with fans running and power lights on. No response to anything other than CRTl-ALT-DEL, which does reboot the machine.
Issuing "/etc/acpi/sleep.sh force" results in this same behaviour as does pressing the keyboard sleep button or selecting suspend in the GUI.
The machine has a Matrox G200 card for the secondary monitor; primary is the inbuilt Intel video, using the current intel driver (not the i810 one).
"uname -a" : Linux xxx-desktop-ubuntu 2.6.22-11-generic #1 SMP Fri Sep 7 05:07:05 GMT 2007 i686 GNU/Linux
I have attempted to follow the procedure: : https:/
