Well, I sold the laptop on which I originally had the issue. I still help the new owner with issues like these, so I will try to test with the LiveCD next time I'm over at his place, but since I'm about to head off on a three month vacation - this probably won't happen until after hardy has released. Not much help to you I suppose. Sorry!
